The Silent Room is a calm, meditative and kind of heartfelt record. It consists of songs and melodies of no particular genre that lay half-finished for many years with no intention of ever recording them, or even to play them with other musicians. But somewhere along the way the idea arouse to actually finish them and arrange them for a kind of jazz setting, and the result is this record. I am happy with it. More melodies still lay around, and so The Silent Room will be the first in a series of recordings with original music.
